Inspired by the Aztec creation mythology, for this ear cuff, Nina utilized the Scale texture found in sacred carvings, and drawings to inspire the scales on the pieces. The Ear lobe cuff & Ear cuff paired together especially are inspired by traditional masks that Ancient Mesoamerican priests would wear representing Quetzalcoatl and other mythological figures during worship and celebrations.
